THE HANDS are a group of veteran musicians offering up the finest blues and R&B this side of Memphis.  From playing punk in San Diego to playing disco on cruise ships, these five guys have just about seen and done it all.  However, THE HANDS agree that one basic element has remained consistent throughout the years...having a good time.  Come along for the ride!

The Hands bid farewell on January 18th, 2008. What's up, you ask? Well, it's like this...we're all good buddies, but we have different musical avenues to explore. Rick has started up a new band that will pursue his love of classic rock more completely than The Hands did. His current lineup features fellow Hands mate, Jeff Paxton, while also featuring 2 former bandmates from The Stompers, cousin Johnny and Scotty. Add to that the inimitable Ed Pierce, and you have what should be a very fun band. Joe is busy recording a CD of originals (with Jeff P. manning the controls) and is considering a small combo of some sort to more directly chase his blues around the room. His originals are excellent and word is the recording project is going very well. Former Hand meister Pat Sheridan keeps busy also working on originals with Gregory Putnam. Gary keeps busy with Hip Pocket and others, and he and Jeff will be joining David in a trio put together to support David's new CD, "One Brother." With various different national marketing & promotion firms currently lining up to handle support for the CD, David needs to get a combo up and running and ready to play important gigs.
